About Mon Titre de Séjour

Radif Partners

Publisher of calculators on French residence permits and citizenship

Radif Partners publishes independent calculators for procedures where a mistake is expensive. This one answers what every foreign national living in France, or about to move here, ends up asking: which permit to apply for, what it will cost in tax stamps, from which day an application for the resident card or for citizenship can go in, and whether the household income is enough to bring the family over.

Why this site exists

The official Service-Public.fr pages are accurate, but they stop short of the arithmetic. They state a five-year requirement without telling you the day it ends for you, an income threshold "on average over twelve months" without doing the average, and a fee per permit without adding up the validated visa, the first card and the renewals. The private sites that rank first contradict themselves from one line to the next, still quote amounts from before 1 May 2026, or offer a "discovery call" instead of a figure.

This site does better than the first Google result because it works out, for each person's situation, the total stamp cost, the date of eligibility for the resident card or citizenship, the family-reunification income threshold based on the minimum wage actually in force, and the renewal timetable, with every rule citing its dated official page, and with no contact form and no invented prefecture waiting time.

How we work

We read 62 Service-Public.fr pages on 13 October 2026, together with the official notice on the fee increase of 1 May 2026 and the minimum-wage series published by Insee, the national statistics office. Every amount lives in a single parameter file with its source and date, and every calculation rule is checked by an automated test before publication. The method page has the details.

What we are not

We are not a government office, a law firm or an appointment-booking service. The site is independent of the Interior Ministry, the prefectures, OFII (the French immigration and integration office) and the ANEF online portal. We collect no phone numbers or addresses, sell no support package and recommend no provider. What we publish is general information, not legal advice. For a difficult case, migrant-support associations, free legal-access points (points d'accès au droit) or a lawyer can help.

Prefecture waiting times

Many sites publish "per prefecture" waiting times collected on forums. No official source publishes them, and one prefecture may process one file in three weeks and another in eight months. We therefore only show the periods the law sets: the period after which silence counts as refusal, and the maximum time to answer a citizenship application.

Written for people living in France

Every page exists in French and English. The English pages are for people settled in France who read English more easily: seconded staff, students, spouses. French administrative terms are kept and explained, because they are the words printed on the forms.

Funding

The calculators are free and store nothing. If advertising ever appears, it will never sit above a calculation.
